Each allotment varies from 10m-18m wide and are all 30m deep, giving you plenty of room to build a home that with a backyard, and enough bedrooms to accommodate your whole family.

An allotment that is 12m wide or above will allow for a double garage, whereas if you would prefer a smaller allotment, a 10m wide block will still allow for a single garage and depending on your setback, even leave some room for extra parking in the driveway. Typically, a two-storey home can be built on a Courtyard allotment or larger and still comfortably fit a backyard or outdoor alfresco area.

When choosing your allotment size, there are also other factors to consider, like which way you would like to face the sun, if you would like to be close to a particular amenity such as a school or playground, or if you would like to be at the end of the street versus the middle of the street. Some of these factors may not come into consideration if you have found the perfect lot size however it is certainly something to weigh in to ensure you’re creating your dream home in the perfect location.
Luckily for you, you won’t need to think about benching and retaining your land as Brookmont’s allotments are flat with quality soils which keep site costs to a minimum.
